Session Description

Idaho Digital Learning Academy, Michigan Virtual, and North Carolina Public Virtual School joined together in June 2011 to offer a joint virtual teacher training event. By utilizing synchronous and asynchronous environments, the three state virtual schools were able to deliver content rich quality professional development to teachers in a cost efficient manner. In this session we will discuss the partnership, tools, cost savings, and pros and cons of delivering the training in the online format.
